My name is Gina Bova and I have been teaching for the MISD for 22 years. I I taught students with severe cognitive impairments for 10 years at Keith Bovenschool School. I have taught students with moderate cognitive impairments for the past 12 years. Ten of those year have been at Glen Peters School.
I went to Wayne State University for undergraduate and graduated with a major in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education: students with cognitive impairments. I continued my education at Saginaw Valley State University and got my Masters in Early Childhood. I have continuing education with the MISD in Teacher Leader program as well as online learning with Phoenix University.
I am married and have 3 children. We reside in Clinton Township and enjoy many family activities. I bike ride, run and love to shop.
