Cold, Cold, Cold!

Hello all!

Mother Nature has started our second semester off with a bang!  Do your best to stay warm!

The students have all finished NWEA testing for the winter and we are now gearing up for second semester school wide activities.

Permission slips for the upcoming bowling trip (Thursday, February 12th) went home yesterday.  Students are encouraged to wear red as we are recognizing healthy heart awareness.

Room 119 is also happy to have started their woodworking class  for third quarter.  They are all doing awesome so far.

Pierogies are coming!  We are making staff lunches on Friday, February 20th and we are all excited.

Happy New Year!

We did it!  We had our first try at making homemade pierogis in preparation for our staff lunch in February.  The students did a great job as did all the staff that helped us out.  Thank you room 118!  The students seemed to enjoy themselves and utilized both math and science in figuring out measurements as well as how ingredients interact with each other especially in the dough making process.

We are looking forward to the upcoming holidays and the holiday luncheon here at Rockwell.
